We love our Parsons Jack Russell, but she is sadly going downhill fast. After having her with us for 10+ years, it is heartbreaking to watch her decline. These are beautiful pet examples - I know also, that the Carolina Dog truly is terrific for families with children. "Plays well with others" is how I would say it - Thanks!

Thank you so much for the photo and info about the Chinook. This rare breed has intrigued me for many years. However, there has been little information about them. I hope your hub and other blogs will help bring them out of near extinction.

I am the owner of a Carolina dog. I knew my girl Tayler is something special. I am pleased to know that she is a rare dog. I figured she had to be since I haven't seen any dogs like her & everywhere we go people are always asking me "what kind of dog is that?". Thank you for the insight!
